I’ve been designing and developing for the web since before HTML supported images or tables. As a co-founder of Core Five Creative, a Cincinnati-based digital agency, I’ve got over a decade of experience planning, producing, and managing web-based applications with expertise in information architecture, user experience design, web standards, and search engine optimization.

In the past, I’ve been an active member of the Lasso development community, speaking at conferences, evangelizing the platform, and writing everything from simple plugins to full-fledged content management systems and intranet apps. I’ve also contributed a sizeable amount of open source code, including a file manager for CKEditor, a popular web-based HTML editor.

These days I’m more focused on the evolution of mobile-first, responsive design techniques, the new mobile browser wars, and the nascent tablet market, all while wondering why TV’s don’t ship with built-in ten-foot browsers.
